The Day We Found a Dog

Last Sunday, my brother and I were playing a board game at home. We were having so much fun that we made a lot of noise. Suddenly, we heard a weak bark coming from outside. We looked out of the window and saw a small, skinny dog in a cardboard box. It clearly couldn’t take care of itself.

We quickly brought the dog inside. I wrapped it with a towel while my brother got some water for it. We hoped our parents would let us keep it. To our relief, when our parents came home and saw the cute dog, they agreed. We were over the moon! It was a great day, and we learned the importance of being kind – “a little kindness goes a long way”.
